Free Trade Agreements with the USA
Some countries have signed Free Trade Agreements (FTA) with the USA which contain requirements about patentable subject matter.

None of the FTAs looked at so far have any requirement to allow software patents.
Some include an identical copy of the wording of the TRIPS agreement, which changes nothing since all the countries with FTAs have already signed TRIPS.
