Reducing or blocking innovation and research?
Ciaran, the previous ESP director, argued that:
[Software patents] not only "block" some, but block enough to cause a reduction in the total research done.
Although I agree with this statement, I somehow feel that the verb "block" sounds more severe than "reduce", therefore I changed the title of the entry back to "Blocking innovation and research". Panos Alevropoulostalk 09:17, 5 April 2022 (EDT)
